NH Wing 2024 Summer Activities
Encampment & NCOLS
July 28 - August 4, 2024 at Fort Devens, MA
NH Wing Summer activities - Encampment and NCOLS - are design to provide a complete and enjoyable training experience for every Cadet. Basic Encampment is a first-time encampment experience for new Cadets, NCOLS teaches Cadet NCOs the basics of small team leadership, and serving on Encampment staff gives senior Cadet NCOs and Cadet Officers a chance to put into practice the leadership they've learned.

Summer Encampment &
Advanced Training Squadron Cost: TBD Basic Encampment is a week of barracks life, drill and ceremonies, physical fitness, science and technology, and Air Force career exploration. Cadets have opportunities for O-flights, rappel tower, the confidence course, the Leadership Reaction Course, and much more! Adult guidance and encouragement from fellow cadets ensures a supportive environment that helps foster personal development and teamwork. Advanced Training Squadron If you already attended an Encampment, but you aren't quite ready for encampment staff, please join us for the Advanced Training Squadron where you will have a blend of classroom leadership training to get you ready to lead AND get hands-on experience in both support and line positions. This experience will get you ready to lead in your squadron and at future encampments AND be a lot of fun! |
Summer NCOLS
Cost: TBD NHWG NCO Leadership School is designed to provide practical leadership training to Cadet NCOs that will give them tools to help build and lead their teams, and a firm foundation of knowledge and experience to carry into Cadet officer ranks. The curriculum is based on CAP and military leadership techniques and includes more than 45 hours of classroom training, practical exercises, and high-adventure activities. |
How To Register
- Log into eservices and click on "Click here to go to Registration Zone."
- Once in the registration zone, on the left menu under "My Stuff" you will see "Event Registration". Click on that in the menu options.
- Once there, you will have a long list of options. To make it easy, in the search bar on the top right side, type in "NER-NH". Once you do that, you will see only NH Wing events, and you should see all three options for attending encampment this summer: Basic Encampment, Advanced Training, and NCOLS.
- Uploading Forms: To register you will need to download, fill out, and upload the forms for medical and for application. The application has a space for the Squadron Commander to sign. You DO NOT need to have your commander physically sign that form. The registration zone will automatically and electronically send your application to the commander to approve. Please just download the forms, fill them out, and upload them.
- Payment: Payment is not enabled through the registration yet, and the final number for encampment isn't ready yet, though we expect it to be about $300 per person for the week-long overnight experience. You will be notified when it is time for payment if payment is due.
