Day three,
After some PT sports in the morning, the honor flight was announced as Delta flight. When opening formation ended, the cadets headed down to Plumley Armory for water survival training in the pool. In this class they learned to make life jackets out of old BDU pants. After the pool the cadets got classes about aerospace, military aircraft, and leadership training. After lunch the cadets prepared for the second room inspection, taking what they learned and applying it to the new inspections. In the afternoon some cadets got to go on powered and glider flights at the airport. Finally, the cadets had an emergency services class where they learned how to read a compass, land navigation, how to use the radios, and how to protect their wingmen from safety hazards in the field.
